What is your primary goal for the City Council?
My primary goal is to ensure Ventura has safe, well-maintained infrastructure, fiscally responsible leadership, and a City Council that puts residents first. I will focus on delivering quality public services, supporting public safety, and making practical, common-sense decisions that strengthen our neighborhoods and improve residents' quality of life.
How will you address the city's budget?
I believe Ventura's budget should be built on fiscal responsibility, transparency, and accountability. Before considering new taxes or fees, we should ensure existing funds are being spent efficiently and prioritize core services like public safety and infrastructure. My public works experience has shown me that preventative maintenance and completing projects correctly the first time save taxpayers money over the long term. I will work to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, pursue outside grant funding, and make responsible financial decisions that protect essential services while investing in Ventura's future.
What are your priorities for District 6?
My priorities for District 6 are repairing streets and sidewalks, improving traffic flow, supporting public safety, maintaining our parks and neighborhoods, and spending taxpayer dollars responsibly. I believe in addressing deferred maintenance through smart, preventative investments that save money over time. I will focus on practical, common-sense solutions, listen to residents, and use my public works experience to improve the infrastructure and services that impact our community every day.
