His professional experience has given him firsthand knowledge of how cities operate, how public dollars should be managed, and how thoughtful planning can create stronger, safer neighborhoods.
Beyond his professional career, Steven has remained actively involved in the community through service on his homeowners association board and participation in regional transportation and public works committees. He currently serves as Chair of the APWA Ventura Construction Inspector Networking Subcommittee and represents his agency on regional technical advisory committees focused on transportation and transit planning. These leadership roles have allowed him to collaborate with elected officials, engineers, public safety agencies, contractors, and community stakeholders throughout Ventura County.
Steven is running for Ventura City Council because he believes the city deserves practical, experienced leadership focused on common-sense solutions rather than politics. His priorities include repairing aging infrastructure, strengthening public safety, improving traffic circulation, protecting Ventura's environment, supporting local businesses, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and efficiently.
Steven believes the best leaders listen first, lead with integrity, and make decisions based on facts. He is committed to serving every resident of District 6 with transparency, accountability, and a focus on delivering real results for the community he calls home.
